Experienced knitting technician who has worked in a knitted textile environment with flat knitting production This role will appeal to high calibre individuals who can demonstrate the following essential skills and experience: In addition, there will be requirement to develop, implement, and maintain methods, operation sequences and processes relating to the manufacturing of components and final assemblies in a wide array of materials. The Knitting R&D Technician/Programmer will work closely with the Technical, Engineering & Production teams, and will be able to demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of 3D textile knitting principles, Stoll M1+ knitting machine programming, operation, and maintenance. The role will lead development of ‘near net-shape’ preform composite textiles to support product range initiatives which incorporate new technologies, materials, and products for a variety of aerospace-related product opportunities.
